Footwear Designer
Requirements
- Have a strong understanding of and passion for the KG Kurt Geiger brand, customer and collections.
- Be able to produce high quality work (Cads and Specs) quickly and efficiently.
- To be engaged and enthusiastic about the fashion industry with strong knowledge of luxury and high street trends and have the ability to contribute and apply this to our brand.
- Be able to produce original, creative and brand appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends.
- Have the ability and passion to work across multiple product categories.
- Be confident in presenting your designs formally and informally.
- To have excellent communication skills with your team, other teams and suppliers.
- Be flexible with the ability to change and reprioritise what you are working on when required.
- Have strong technical and practical knowledge that allows you to deliver accurate samples.
- Be able to take responsibility for your design work, following samples through until a perfect sample is delivered to the deadlines – a thorough and proactive approach in sample management.
- Be able to work without supervision but be part of a team.
