Position summary.
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join Kurogo. You’ll manage a suite of clients - some of the most exciting founders, CEOs and entrepreneurs in the world. As the Account Manager, you’ll lead each client campaign, build strong relationships with our clients and their teams, and ensure our delivery is exceptional. You’ll be an exceptional strategist and a real people-person, able to lead, inspire and support a small team, including a Content Writer and Community Manager. As a leading personal branding agency, we’re looking for someone with a keen interest in personal branding and someone who shares our entrepreneurial drive and optimism - someone who can grow and develop with us. We’ve grown rapidly since launching in 2021 and plan to continue our expansion globally.
Key responsibilities.
- To work closely with our clients to understand what makes them stand out and the reputation they want to build
- To build strong relationships with our clients and manage expectations
- To research and understand our clients’ industries inside out
- To develop powerful brand strategies to position our clients as thought leaders in their industries
- To understand and leverage brand strategy, social media and PR to our clients’ advantages
- To work with our Content Writers and Senior Team to execute positioning strategies effectively through high-quality content
- To manage and coordinate output of the Content Writers and Community Manager to ensure all work is aligned with our clients’ strategies and is delivered to a high-standard and on-time
- To liaise with clients day-to-day to collect necessary information and ensure they are receiving high-quality work
- To monitor client campaigns and take the necessary steps to constantly improve them
- To create and run reports with our clients on the performance of their personal brand, alongside our Content Writers and Community Manager
- To share information and best practice on producing industry-leading content openly and productively with the wider team
- To bring your own thoughts and ideas to the table as to how we can grow as an agency
What we are looking for.
- 2+ years experience in account management (preferably within social media, marketing)
- Proven success growing company or personal profiles on social media
- Keen interest in the personal branding space and a solid understanding of LinkedIn
- An exceptional relationship-builder - someone who has experience working closely with clients
- Someone who cares deeply about clients’ experience and campaign performance and will go the extra mile to ensure we deliver the best results. You’re someone who never settles for ‘good enough’.
- Proactive, self-motivated and organised - constantly looking to improve our delivery, the business and your own skills
- Ability to coordinate your own work and other team members’ work across multiple clients simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Determined to learn and develop with us

A typical week could involve:
- Attending whole team meetings to update on the status of clients in your “Pod”
- Researching and developing a strategy to position a new client as a thought leader in their industry
- Presenting strategies to our clients
- Coordinating your Pod to ensure all necessary work is completed in good time to a high-standard
- Collaborating with your Pod to develop existing client’s positioning and social growth strategies
- Catching up with clients to report on progress and collect powerful stories and updates that Content Writers can turn into content
- Analysing campaign performance and producing monthly reports for your client
- An afternoon of your own learning and development on Friday
