Our client, a leading healthcare consultancy specialising in NHS digital transformation and interoperability programmes, is seeking an experienced Integration Consultant to join their growing delivery team. Working alongside NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations across the UK, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions that enable seamless interoperability between critical healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement healthcare integration solutions across NHS environments
  • Develop and support interfaces using HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, XML, JSON, and related interoperability standards
  • Collaborate with NHS stakeholders, clinical system suppliers, and technical teams to ensure successful integration delivery
  • Support data migration, transformation, mapping, and message validation activities
  • Troubleshoot interface and interoperability issues across multiple healthcare platforms
  • Contribute to interoperability strategy, architecture, and best practice guidance
  • Produce technical documentation and interface specifications

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering healthcare integrations within NHS or healthcare environments
  • Strong knowledge of: HL7, FHIR, API integrations, Healthcare messaging standards
  • Experience with integration engines and middleware platforms
  • Understanding of NHS clinical systems and interoperability challenges
  • Experience working across complex multi-system environments
