Kurage is looking for a

Senior Business Development Manager with an established network within the UK private neurorehabilitation ecosystem to build our UK presence from the ground up.

This is a hands-on market development role. We are looking for someone who already knows the key private neurorehabilitation and neurophysiotherapy organisations, understands their decision-making processes and has existing relationships with clinical and business leaders.

Your initial mission will be to establish Kurage in London and Greater London, secure and develop our first strategic clinical partnerships and progressively expand our presence across the UK.

You will work closely with Kurage's European leadership and, as the UK business grows, have the opportunity to progress into the UK Commercial Director role and build the future commercial organisation.

About Kurage

Kurage is transforming neurological rehabilitation through Neuro Skin®, a connected rehabilitation platform combining wearable Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), smart sensors, AI-powered movement analysis and personalised rehabilitation programmes.

Neuro Skin® supports people living with neurological conditions including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and incomplete Spinal Cord Injury, helping improve mobility and rehabilitation from clinic to home.

What you will do

  • Build Kurage's UK commercial presence from scratch, initially focused on the private neurorehabilitation sector.
  • Identify and prioritise the most relevant private neurorehabilitation and neurophysiotherapy organisations.
  • Leverage your existing network to engage clinic owners, clinical directors and other key decision-makers.
  • Own the full business development cycle from first contact through demonstration, negotiation, partnership agreement and launch.
  • Develop and grow strategic relationships with clinical partners and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Kurage's clinical and marketing teams to support successful market development.
  • Provide market intelligence and contribute directly to Kurage's UK commercial strategy.
  • Progressively expand Kurage's presence across the UK and contribute to the development of the future UK organisation.
  • What we are looking for

An established professional network within UK private neurorehabilitation, neurophysiotherapy and/or rehabilitation technology.

  • Strong knowledge of the key organisations and decision-makers in this market.
  • 5+ years of relevant business development, sales or partnership experience within healthcare, Med Tech, rehabilitation technology or a closely related field.
  • Proven ability to personally open new accounts and convert opportunities into commercial partnerships.
  • Experience developing a new territory, market or business line with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A hands‑on, entrepreneurial approach and strong commercial ownership.
  • Based in or within easy reach of London, with the ability to travel regulary across the UK.

Experience in neurorehabilitation, FES, rehabilitation technologies, robotics, digital rehabilitation or neurological medical devices would be particularly valuable.

Experience working with the NHS is an advantage but is not essential for the initial mission .

This is an opportunity to build a new market rather than manage an existing territory , work directly with Kurage's leadership and have a significant influence on our UK development.

For the right person, the ambition is clear

build the UK business today and grow into UK Commercial Director as the business and team scale.
