We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our store in Solihull. Role Overview
As a Personal Travel Expert, your personality, exceptional customer service skills, and destination knowledge are what our customers come back for time and time again. You will create and sell worldwide holidays, owning the customer journey from enquiry to post-travel follow-up. We ensure that booking holidays is as enjoyable as the trip itself.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in-store, providing a personalized service and inspiring holiday ideas.
- Design tailor-made holidays, including third-party products, to match customer interests, tastes, and budgets.
- Act as a customer’s concierge, supporting them through every stage of their holiday experience.
- Work towards monthly sales targets and build lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Participate in educational trips and promotional events to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passionate and enthusiastic about travel, with experience of long-haul destinations.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in travel or retail environments.
- Knowledge of the travel industry and experience in designing tailor-made holidays.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable using booking systems and learning new technologies.
- Flexible to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
