Duties and responsibilities
- This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rugby for a Legal Secretary.
- The Legal Secretary will be responsible for preparing legal documents, assisting legal professionals, managing diaries, and handling clerical tasks.
- Additional duties include processing digital dictation by way of transcription, filing documents, conducting legal research, and scheduling appointments together with providing Reception cover as and when required.
- The role demands careful attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
Experience and qualifications
- Understanding of Law and proficiency in Legal Document Preparation
- Experience as a Legal Secretary and in Clerical Skills
- Competence in Diary Management and scheduling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment in Rugby
- Proficiency in using legal software and office applications
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing and private client is advantageous
