Joining us on a full time, permanent, and hybrid working basis, your role will be to manage and co-ordinate campaign activities and project manage above and below the line marketing activity to achieve student and franchise recruitment growth objectives/targets. It is essential you have a strong command of German both spoken and written.

  • Take ownership of the marketing calendar and budget allocation for KDE (Kumon Germany).
  • Develop the initial campaign strategies and timing and activity plans for key campaigns throughout the year to use relevant channels effectively and achieve pre-determined objectives for both franchise and student recruitment activity.
  • Define, track, and report on key KPIs (campaign performance, lead conversion, ROI, cost per lead) and present insights with recommendations for optimisation.
  • Manage the implementation, communication, tracking and measurement of campaigns to ensure all activity is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Make autonomous decisions on campaign adaptation and content planning based on market insight and performance.
  • Work with key stakeholders to implement campaign activity: this includes the in-house Design Team, Field Teams, Legal, IT, Digital Acquisition and Communications teams.
  • Provide marketing mentoring and support to other Associates and country teams across KDE as required.
  • Brief and work with external agencies to ensure activity is delivered against the brief.
  • Deliver regular campaign activity, data and results presentations as required.
  • Deliver key monthly reporting of results and activity, based on all available measurement such as call stats, Google analytics, traffic, enquiries, marketing activity performance data, student and centre numbers.
  • Create and manage regular newsletters for franchisees across different KDE regions, in both German and English, tailoring content to the specific needs of each country or group.
  • Collate Instructor (franchisee), student and parent (customer) feedback to influence the ongoing evolution of Kumon’s campaign material and offering.
  • Day-to-day management of external agencies to develop appropriate, creative and effective plans, media and print as required.
  • Ensure all agencies meet their contractual obligations and adhere to all brand and identity guidelines.
  • To enthuse and gain regular promotional activity buy-in from Instructors and Associates using effective communications and administration.
  • To develop a regularly updated artwork content suite and manage the timely production and distribution of marketing material (internally and with external agencies) as necessary.
  • To ensure that all communication material positively reflects the Kumon brand and supports Instructors to confidently sell Kumon by effectively communicating Kumon’s brand messaging and growth activity via articles, workshops, online and Associate (staff) engagement.
  • First point of contact for Germany (+Out of Germany) Instructors for the resolution of requests.
  • Co-ordination and management of new centres’ Great Starts marketing activity.
  • Communication with new franchisees (openings and handovers) to open their GBP centre profiles and microsites.
  • Support KEA Brand & Marketing Manager with other activities as requested.
  • To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required. There may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working times and or at weekends for which TOIL time would be awarded.
  • To work with, abide by and positively promote all KEA's policies and/or procedures including, but not limited to, health and safety matters.
  • To carry out all reasonable duties as and when requested by your line manager or any other senior management member.
