Sr Class Assistant-Part time after school

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong commitment to supporting students in English and Maths. This role involves working closely with children, including those with disabilities, to enhance their learning experiences and foster their academic growth.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Develop and implement personalised learning plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities, using Kumon program.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.

Experience

• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is desirable, particularly with children of various ages.
• Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively conveying information and building rapport with students and their families.
