Make an impact
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead procurement activities within the product development process.
- Manage Target Costing, Design-to-Cost and Cost Engineering across all development stages.
- Select, qualify, and develop suppliers for new products.
- Evaluate supplier risks, resilience and performance.
Cost Reduction & Value Engineering:
- Drive cost improvement initiatives for series products.
- Identify and execute Value Analysis / Value Engineering opportunities.
- Initiate and track sustainable cost reduction measures.
Change Management & Discontinuation:
- Support lifecycle processes across SCM.
- Member of the Core Team for Change Management.
- Manage and coordinate technical changes through product lifecycle.
What you need to succeed:
- Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or similar.
- Several years of experience in procurement, ideally in NPI, Cost Engineering or Value Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret cost structures and technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Independent, structured, and proactive working style.
- Experience in international supplier management is an advantage.
