In this role you will manage healthcare road freight shipments and ensure they meet customer requirements, quality standards, and healthcare regulations. You will work with customers, planners and the healthcare network to support onboarding, quotations and end-to-end service delivery. You’ll drive service excellence, data accuracy and continuous improvements across import, export, cross-trade and domestic distribution. Your impact spans protecting product safety and patient safety while collaborating across a global network.

Responsibilities

  • Manage healthcare road freight shipments across import, export, cross-trade and domestic distribution while following customer SOPs and work instructions.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by understanding needs, providing timely updates and proposing solutions to service challenges.
  • Support customer onboarding and implementation, including SOPs and work instructions and participation in customer meetings.
  • Provide accurate, commercially effective spot quotes and set-rate solutions in collaboration with Planning and other teams.
  • Ensure bookings, customs documentation, invoicing and system data are accurate and timely to support cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor service performance, investigate deviations and support CAPA and continuous improvement activities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, healthcare-approved hauliers, Planning, Sales, Warehouse and the Healthcare network.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare quality, GDP, QSHE and GxP requirements to protect product and patient safety.

Key requirements

  • Experience in customer service and healthcare/pharmaceutical logistics (~2 years each).
  • Strong knowledge of road freight operations, customs procedures and Dangerous Goods by Road.
  • Experience in quotations, customer collaboration and creating solutions for customer needs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of GDP/GxP standards, SOPs and quality management processes in healthcare.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel) and ability to learn operating systems.
  • Collaborative, flexible and solutions-focused mindset with emphasis on continuous improvement and customer excellence.
