Overview
In this role, you drive operational excellence and profitable growth for the national LTL/FTL operations. You liaise with Operations, Sales and external partners to ensure seamless transport and high service quality, while pushing productivity and continuous improvement. You’ll build a strong carrier network and shape operational solutions for new business opportunities. This position blends hands-on logistics leadership with cross-functional collaboration to elevate customer satisfaction and compliance. You will lead to enable sustainable growth in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth and operational performance in national LTL/FTL operations
- Ensure high service quality and effective deviation management to improve customer satisfaction
- Improve operational processes and increase productivity within dispatch and operations teams
- Develop and manage a strong carrier management strategy with subcontractors and transport partners
- Support Sales teams by enabling operational solutions for new business opportunities
- Monitor operational KPIs, analyse performance trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen operational efficiency and service reliability
Key requirements
- Strong knowledge of national LTL/FTL transportation and logistics operations
- Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and MS Office applications
- Proven analytical skills to identify and implement operational improvements
- International and open-minded approach beyond domestic standards
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder management across all levels
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to react effectively in challenging operational situations
