We're looking for a Transport Operator to join our Control Tower team, supporting the movement of road freight between Europe and the UK for a major automotive customer.
This is a pivotal operational role where you'll act as a central point of control, monitoring shipments, coordinating with carriers and customs teams, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, compliantly, and On Time In Full (OTIF).

How you create impact Monitor and coordinate road freight shipments from Europe into the UK.
Track vehicle and shipment movements using transport management systems.
Proactively identify and resolve potential service disruptions and delays.
Coordinate import and export movements across UK and EU borders.
Work closely with carriers, drivers, transport planners, and customs teams.
Escalate critical operational issues and support recovery plans when required.
Maintain accurate, real-time transport status updates and records.
Help deliver excellent customer service and OTIF performance against agreed service levels.
