As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Your work ensures that our customers' products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality testing across a diverse range of technology solutions for both Kuehne + Nagel and our external customers.
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and executing testing activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that business and technical requirements are fully validated before release. As a subject matter expert, you will create detailed test scenarios and test cases, execute component, integration, UAT and operational testing, and provide accurate effort estimates to support project delivery. You will monitor progress against agreed schedules, manage defects through to resolution, maintain robust testing documentation, and contribute to the development of regression test packs. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and supporting successful project outcomes.
How you create impact
- Support the estimation and planning of testing activities for new projects and change requests.
- Create, review and execute comprehensive test scenarios and scripts across multiple testing phases.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external clients and stakeholders to develop effective test plans and ensure full requirements coverage.
- Manage the creation, maintenance and storage of test scripts within JIRA.
- Define and coordinate test data requirements to support successful test execution.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing activities.
- Monitor testing progress, providing timely updates, status reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Accurately record test results, defects and evidence within agreed testing tools and workflows.
- Facilitate defect triage activities, working with SMEs to assess impact, prioritise issues and drive resolution.
