It's more than a job As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. The Priority Progression Cell (PPC) Operative exists to deal with all High Priority demands from Units, Land, Sea and air. They are responsible for ensuring Kuehne & Nagel deliver demands within the timeframe required to meet customer expectations and requirements.
How you create impact
- Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/WI
- Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
- Picking and packing in both DFC and Main site
- Operating of Warehouse Management systems (WMS)
- Escalations and system investigation
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Booking of transport/couriers, processing returns and missed collections
- System monitoring and data entry
- Completing and filing documentation
- Customer service
- Use of MHE where required
- Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents/incidents
