When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors.

Responsibilities

  • Process consignment orders from clients via email, telephone and Quickonline portal (routing, classifying service type, establishing deadlines, printing job orders).
  • Manage the green light approval process for consignments destined to non‑EU destinations.
  • Provide clients with continuous status notifications and follow‑ups (flight/customs delays, proof of deliveries, additional charges, resolutions).
  • Monitor and respond to client emails via shared mailboxes.
  • Calculate and arrange positioning of suitable temperature‑controlled packaging and logger supplies.
  • Track and trace consignments and provide clients with status updates throughout transit as well as process daily reports and manifests.
  • Monitor and action special alarms (SPAs) via Quick Track.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with the pricing team to provide clients with requested quotations in a timely manner.
  • Assist and work alongside Customer Relationship.
