We are the contract logistics partner of choice for logistics outsourcing and the management of complex supply chains. Our integrated services include all aspects of logistics planning, control and execution. From point of origin to consumption, we design solutions that turn your logistics operations from a challenge into a substantial competitive advantage. Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package and through life support for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing. In addition, centres co‑located with the end user ensure store to fitment service.
Shift Schedule
Mon to Fri – shifts: 6.30am to 3pm and 1.30pm to 10pm.
Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for End User demands
- Process all demands within a timely manner
- Provide appropriate notifications to higher authority associated with loss of capability such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) notifications
- Inform End User of forecast delivery dates (FDD) of material not immediately available from the onsite inventory
- Update LogIS and customer systems with FDDs for non‑available demands
- Notify end users of supply solution for their respective demands
- Seek supply information for non‑available demands where the forecast delivery date is due or has expired
- Notify End User of supply status of outstanding demands
- Seek alternative solutions through the End User for demands that have supply solutions beyond the End‑User’s required delivery date
- Receipt, issue and dispatch material to and from the UK Apache AH‑64E Warehouse using Authority Log IS
- Operate MHE they are trained to use
- Reposition material for the customer around locations as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement and QSHE activities
Qualifications
- Must be totally flexible and willing to learn
- Have an understanding of the need for attention to detail, with a “right first time” approach
- Can demonstrate good communication skills
- Experience of operating MJDI/SAP is highly desirable but not essential
- Have confidence within a busy and diverse working environment and the ability to prioritise work on a day‑to‑day basis
- Must be computer literate and trained in MS Office Suite
- Full driving licence essential and prepared to operate MHE, including FLT
- Must be willing to undergo Security Check Clearance
- Good housekeeping skills
