When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. But that is not all. Responsibilities

  • Join our team of Exception Management Specialists, operating within defined processes and procedures, adhering to service level agreements, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • You will play a key role in monitoring systems and tools to identify, classify, and resolve issues and exceptions efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and apply learnings proactively.
  • Use root cause analysis to propose preventative actions that support operational excellence.
  • Escalate complex and critical exceptions to the Exception Management Lead.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolution steps, and contribute to reporting for analysis of resolution effectiveness.
  • Identify exceptions within processes, systems, or transactions; monitor data and systems to detect anomalies, analyse, root cause, classify and prioritise based on severity and impact; re-align processes and highlight system gaps for correction/improvement.
  • Efficiently resolve exceptions and prevent recurrence – developing corrective actions for immediate resolution, collaborate with relevant teams to resolve in a timely manner, and propose longer term improvements to prevent recurrence in future.
  • Internal team audit support to ensure compliance and take feedback on audit results and action to ensure consistency and improvement.
  • Updating the Exception Management Lead and relevant stakeholders on exception status.
  • Coordinate with all other relevant parties as required (e.g., customers, hauliers and others).
  • Accurate tracking and reporting of exceptions.
  • Maintaining records of issues, resolutions and trends.
  • Support in Lean principles to adapt and implement best practice.
