When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Key account Customers and ensure compliance with all agreed company policies.
- Ensure that the needs of QuickSTAT customers are being satisfied consistently and that excellence in customer service is promoted throughout the organisation while working collaboratively with Operations and Sales.
- Effective communication with all staff and cooperation within the senior management team.
- Maintain all QuickSTAT Client functionality ensuring compliance with agreed procedures.
- Maintain professional manner towards all staff, seeking at all time to implement and maintain company policy.
- Seek to resolve inter‑departmental questions and issues as they arise and without conflict.
- Adhere to all company policies, at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the Department Manager or other Senior Management.
- Monitor existing Quality Control procedures for compliance and effectiveness.
- Report ineffective procedures to the respective Department Manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in biopharma or specialist courier operations with strong customer service exposure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of courier and freight operations, including import/export, warehousing, and transport.
- Strong understanding of temperature‑controlled packaging solutions for pharmaceutical logistics.
- Knowledge of country‑specific regulations governing pharmaceutical importation and exportation.
- Solid grasp of global geography, time zones, and transit milestones.
- Proven problem‑solving, negotiation, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership, planning, and team‑motivation abilities, with strong communication skills.
