As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and sales teams by ensuring smooth logistics operations and providing excellent service throughout the shipment process.
**How you create impact**
Provide operational support to Freight Account Managers and the wider sales team.
Organize shipments and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor pre-bookings and proactively engage with customers to ensure efficient planning.
Serve as the first point of contact for general customer enquiries.
Provide proactive updates to customers and address shipment issues when they arise.
Manage exceptions by identifying and resolving issues quickly, escalating when necessary.
Prepare quotes and identify opportunities to support account growth.
Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and support overall branch operations.
**What we would like you to bring**
Secondary school education or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering an excellent customer experience.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining accountability for individual responsibilities.
