As a Sea Logistics Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our footprint across strategic trade lanes while shaping the success of our customers and our business. Your Role
- Drive the growth of our Sea Logistics business by acquiring new customers and developing existing ones in the SME segment.
- Collaborate with Customer Care, Trade, Pricing, and global Route Development teams to strengthen KuehneNagel's market position across core sea freight products (FCL & LCL).
How you create impact
- Hunt and win new seafreight import, export, and cross-trade business (FCL & LCL).
- Develop, retain, and expand existing customer relationships.
- Build expert market knowledge on key trades, carriers, routings, and schedules.
- Maintain close collaboration with overseas Route Development Managers.
- Ensure a high-quality sales pipeline and maximize win rates.
- Provide continuous feedback on market conditions and pricing developments.
- Enter and maintain accurate CRM (CoreLOG) data on a weekly basis.
- Support customer onboarding and participate in sales projects and initiatives.
What we would like you to bring
- Experience in sea logistics or international freight forwarding (2-5 years preferred).
- Strong customer focus and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Solid presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Freight forwarding operational knowledge (FCL & LCL).
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and in cross-cultural teams.
- Advanced English skills and intermediate local language proficiency.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and time-management capability.
