Warehouse Team Leader - Nights in Hatton

The Warehouse Night Shift Team Leader is responsible for directing the daily activities for a specified area of warehouse operations, including supervision and the proper processing of warehouse operations procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Warehouse Shift Manager through leading the relevant team in completing warehouse operational work procedures to achieve the shared operational aim of consistently excellent service delivery.
• In the absence of the shift manager, taking direct ownership for managing, accountability & responsibility for the warehouse team.
• Ensuring that a thorough and comprehensive induction is carried out for all colleagues using the appropriate documentation.
• Ensuring that both internal systems - HR.net and HCM are completed for all colleagues in a timely manner and reviewed/actioned regularly.
• Ensuring HR policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Carrying out performance and annual reviews with all colleagues in line with Company procedure, setting objectives, agreeing clear IDPs and reviewing both twice a year as a minimum.
• Effectively people managing and carrying out procedures relating to absence management and general operational HR administrative duties.
• Overseeing the inbound and outbound Cargo Flows, Manpower, and Equipment & Inventory to ensure cost optimisation and deliver consistently excellent service.
• Supporting the Shift Manager in being responsible and accountable for the day-to-day management of the operation.
• Working with the team to deliver excellent operational management systems processes and best practices.
• Ensuring the warehouse operates in full compliance with relevant ISO 9001 standards, K+N Quality Management System and any customer-specific requirements.
• Creating and maintaining an environment for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring all processes, space and workload are planned to achieve full efficiency/optimisation.
• Operating within all the guidelines for all KN Chains e.g. PharmaChain and BatteryChain Quality Management System as laid down in P806 and National and local related specific Working Instructions and customer SOPs.
