The site Facilitator is the key representative of Continuous Improvement culture that every site needs to embrace, acting as a coach and project leader to improve operational efficiency.
How you create impact:
- Support and co-implement 5S, visual management, work instructions and other Production System standards
- Deliver Production system, WhiteBelt & YellowBelt training
- Coach and mentor all WhiteBelt & YellowBelt through to certification
- Support training of 5S audit requirements
- Support and co-facilitate DDVSA events and other lean events (Kaizen / VSM etc)
- Implement idea management (Suggestion Management)
- Support daily performance management and project follow-up
- Support identification and development of metrics for SQCDEP boards
- Facilitate site teams delivering Production System targets
- Update CI tracker in line with key target dates
- Monitor and feedback to operation where board usage/performance drops below required standard
- Make business case for innovations
- Take actions to upgrade site excellence levels
- Drive and support productivity measures across the business
- Monitor Visual Management standards across site
- Contribute to client presentations

- Experience of working to agreed targets and understanding of KPIs
- Driving and managing change
- Experience of Business Improvement Techniques (Continuous Improvements)
- Understanding and completion of 5S activities
- Ability to apply Production System framework to day-to-day activities on site
- Health and safety reporting and identifying unsafe conditions
- Delivery of training material, face to face and online
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
- Good communication and organisation skills
- People focus; empathy, engagement
- Ability to provide direction and guidance to colleagues
