The predicted salary is between 33075 - 40425 Β£ per year.
To manage & lead the warehouse operation team to ensure everyone in your team is focused on QSHE, Continuous improvement and customer centricity, exhibiting KN behaviours consistently to deliver shipments on-time, in good order and work collaboratively with all other physical operations (Gateway, Retail & Transport) to achieve the shared aim of consistently excellent service delivery. The shift pattern for this role is 4on 4off, 19:00 - 07:00h.
How you create impact
- Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day management of the operations.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate cost-effective way.
- To ensure priority shipments are tracked, monitored and processed in line with the agreed SLA.
- To ensure full compliance to the principals of the ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards and the associated environmental objectives.
- Take ownership for rapid resolution of all operational issues, communicate regularly with all stakeholders and ensure all issues are managed according to SLA.
- Communicate all positive issues, in real time, to your team to support EX and the goal to have a competent and committed team.
- Ensure the warehouse operates in full compliance to relevant ISO 9001 standards, K+N Quality Management System and any customer specific requirements.
- To create and maintain an environment for continuous improvement.
- To ensure colleague practical, CBT and refresher training is completed and always maintained to enable the operation to be fully functional, compliant and efficient.
What we would like you to bring
- Excellent knowledge of airfreight warehousing.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Good knowledge of pharma & healthcare supply chain requirements.
- Knowledge of government regulations in regards to Pharma Storage and knowledge of GDP/GMP.
- Good presentation skills used to speak in front of an audience (predominantly internal).
- Good decision making and ability to work independently.
- NEBOSH accredited is a plus.
