Packaging Operative – Yeovil – JR2502_0041 Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Operative and help us deliver excellence with every package. YOUR ROLE Due to continued growth within the Leonardo UK Helicopters contract we have a full Time vacancy for a Packaging Manufacturing Operative based in Yeovil. Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for processing of deliveries and associated workloads. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all work meets with customers\’ specifications, the production plan and the required quality standard. Ensure the Company\’s Health & Safety procedures are adhered to, in particular, the use of machinery and protective devices. Looking at drawings and making the boxes to meet the specifications of the drawings Cut wood materials into varying sizes/shape using power or bandsaws; assemble wood parts with the aid of nail guns, power stapler and glue to fabricate boxes into desired shape and size. Repair damaged wooden boxes and containers using a range of hand or power tools. Paperwork procedures. Participate and actively pursue good communications between the team and other departments.
