As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and sales teams by ensuring smooth logistics operations and providing excellent service throughout the shipment process. In this 1-year temporary role, you will act as a central point of contact, proactively engaging with customers and coordinating internally to deliver efficient and reliable solutions.
How you create impact
- Provide operational support to Freight Account Managers and the wider sales team.
- Organize shipments and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor pre-bookings and proactively engage with customers to ensure efficient planning.
- Serve as the first point of contact for general customer enquiries.
- Provide proactive updates to customers and address shipment issues when they arise.
- Manage exceptions by identifying and resolving issues quickly, escalating when necessary.
- Prepare quotes and identify opportunities to support account growth.
- Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and support overall branch operations.
