It\’s more than a job. As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you contribute to the success of your team and to daily operations in our warehouses and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for lunches and family celebrations.
How you create impact
- Complete daily MHE safety checks where required.
- Perform tasks such as picking, packing, receiving goods, checking, loading/unloading, hygiene, van driving, MHE operations, and processing returns.
- Handle administrative work like order entry and matching.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and complete other computer-based tasks as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow trained work instructions (e.g., ABC Modules/WI).
- Uphold company standards outlined in the Code of Conduct.
- Observe safe working practices and report all workplace incidents.
- Maintain KN 5S standards in your area.
- Meet individual and team productivity and accuracy targets.
- Act according to KN Anchor Principles and Behaviours.
- Use the escalation process for deviations from standard procedures.
- Perform other duties as needed.
