Your Role

  • Drive the growth of our Sea Logistics business by acquiring new customers and developing existing ones in the SME segment.
  • Together with Customer Care, Trade, Pricing, and global Route Development teams, help strengthen Kuehne+Nagel’s market position across core sea freight products (FCL & LCL).

How you create impact

  • Hunt and win new seafreight import, export, and cross‑trade business (FCL & LCL).
  • Develop, retain, and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Build expert market knowledge on key trades, carriers, routings, and schedules.
  • Maintain close collaboration with overseas Route Development Managers.
  • Ensure a high‑quality sales pipeline and maximize win rates.
  • Provide continuous feedback on market conditions and pricing developments.
  • Enter and maintain accurate CRM (CoreLOG) data on a weekly basis.
  • Support customer onboarding and participate in sales projects and initiatives.

  • Experience in sea logistics or international freight forwarding (2–5 years preferred).
  • Strong customer focus and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Solid presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Freight forwarding operational knowledge (FCL & LCL).
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently, remotely, and in cross‑cultural teams.
  • Advanced English skills and intermediate local language proficiency.
