- Oversee and manage day‑to‑day Control Tower operations, ensuring shipments are delivered on time, in full and within budget.
- Provide end‑to‑end visibility and coordination across European collections, hub operations and final‑mile deliveries.
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional service levels.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and data analysis, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective planning and execution within time‑critical, just‑in‑time logistics environments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Optimise transport and supply‑chain processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Drive operational excellence within a complex, customer‑focused logistics environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain, transport operations or Control Tower environments, ideally within the automotive logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of UK and European transport operations, cross‑border logistics and customs processes.
- Demonstrable experience managing time‑critical, high‑performance logistics operations.
- A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and operational performance reporting tools.
