This HGV Class 1 Night Driver role involves working directly with our customers on contract. The client will be your main point of contact for operational and trailer issues. All vehicle and work-related issues are handled by us directly.
Responsibilities:
- Trunking with trailer swaps, deliveries, and collections to commercial premises.
- Safely strapping and securing all loads in line with company and legal requirements.
- Communicating promptly with the customer about any delays or issues to maintain service standards.
- Working independently and thinking for yourself.
- Handling ADR deliveries as part of the duties; prior ADR licence holders will be prioritised. An ADR licence is required, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV licence.
- Valid Digital Tacho.
- Up to date CPC Card.
- ADR licence (all classes except 1 & 7) is preferable.
Working Hours & Compensation:
- Shifts based on a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Night shift salary: £864 per week (overtime available).
- Day shift salary: £780 per week (overtime available; nights out required).
- Pay is weekly.
