Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day operational functionality and performance of inspection operations, including off-loads of trailers, presentation for inspection, and reload onto trailers.
  • Complete and support operational checks.
  • Assist with ensuring cleanliness and compliance of working environments to relevant health and hygiene standards.
  • Operational tactical duties: loading and unloading lorries including MHE.
  • Ensure correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures and health and safety legislation.
  • Undertake manual and/or electronic reporting requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to support the inspection process.
  • Update the PINC Yard Management System following training.
  • Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives.
  • Maintain the inspection environment following training.
  • COSHH awareness following training.
  • Participate and complete required training and development relevant to the role.
  • Champion a health and safety culture.

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety at work.
  • Experience of working to agreed targets.
  • Deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner.
  • Achieve a high level of accuracy.
  • Work individually or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including covering holidays and absence when required.
  • Warehouse system experience.
  • PC skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
