Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day operational functionality and performance of inspection operations, including off-loads of trailers, presentation for inspection, and reload onto trailers.
- Complete and support operational checks.
- Assist with ensuring cleanliness and compliance of working environments to relevant health and hygiene standards.
- Operational tactical duties: loading and unloading lorries including MHE.
- Ensure correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures and health and safety legislation.
- Undertake manual and/or electronic reporting requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to support the inspection process.
- Update the PINC Yard Management System following training.
- Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives.
- Maintain the inspection environment following training.
- COSHH awareness following training.
- Participate and complete required training and development relevant to the role.
- Champion a health and safety culture.
