Located at our prestigious warehouse facility, you will oversee a secure area dedicated to managing various high-priority goods. Your responsibilities include ensuring the smooth daily operations and optimal performance of multiple teams, including Team Leaders, Warehouse Operatives, and Administrators. This role offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate your leadership and operational skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and service excellence within a dynamic setting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of your team, including task allocation and activity oversight.
  • Conduct management and line management briefings, and handle absence or disciplinary issues.
  • Oversee colleague training and competency development, maintaining relevant trackers and records.
  • Plan and manage resource utilization effectively.
  • Ensure efficient operational area management as required.
  • Report and address Near Miss incidents and safety concerns.
  • Maintain adherence to Statement of Requirement (SOR) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Continuously review operations and implement improvements in methods, procedures, and efficiency.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Previous experience in logistics management and strong knowledge of warehouse systems.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Experience in financial and strategic management, with commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills for motivating and leading teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
