As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. The role oversees all aspects of training, validation, auditing and procedure management for Leonardo Helicopter stamp holders across Kuehne + Nagel and Leonardo, both in the UK and internationally. It serves as a point of contact for quality assurance, customer complaints, audits, and compliance matters.
How you create impact
- Co-ordinate the issuing and amending of Departmental Instructions.
- Carry out training, initial issue, revalidation, and auditing for all Leonardo Helicopter stamp holders both in the UK and overseas.
- Manage & Conduct investigations into Customer complaints and audit findings, and respond with the root cause analysis, containment and corrective actions.
- Be a point of contact for technical queries and quality audits.
- Assist in coordinating the Departmental Procedure review program.
- Be an ambassador for Quality through the provision of training, coaching, and support to all learners.
What we would like you to bring
- Receipt and dispatch technical inspection within the aerospace industry
- Sound engineering background in the aerospace industry
- NVQ Level 3 Engineering or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company, suppliers and customer organisations.
- Previously worked within Helicopters industry and held an inspection stamp is preferred
