Your Role
This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations, from off-loading trailers to presentation for inspection, and reloading onto trailers. Shift rotation: 4 days on, 4 days off.
Your Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading lorries, including manual handling and using roller cages and other MHE.
- Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility while remaining compliant with manual handling procedures.
- Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested.
- Supporting the inspection process by taking instructions from on-site partners.
- Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training.
- Carrying out operational tasks to meet departmental and site objectives.
- Maintaining the inspection environment following training.
- Following COSHH awareness procedures after training.
- Assisting drivers in locating bays and supporting them in directions to bays and offices.
- Championing a health and safety culture.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Experience in logistics within a large, fast-moving environment.
- Strong warehouse system experience.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
- Experience working towards targets.
- Intermediate PC skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Understanding of warehouse practices such as picking and loading.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in an organized and informed manner.
- High accuracy in work.
- Flexible working hours, including covering holidays and absences when required.

- Good communication skills and a high level of accountability, leading by example.
