Your Role
Responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination, and conditioning of small arms equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at Kuehne+Nagel Donnington. Using approved data to maintain the stock.
Your Responsibilities
- Establish and understand Risk Assessments and Risk Controls, including identifying risks.
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices, including reporting all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
- Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates, and rewrites as required.
- Be a Champion for Delivery of Service at all times.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the latest approved data.
- Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with approved data.
- Ensure you work within current approved data, policies, processes, procedures, and management guidance.
- Work with others to ensure required outcomes are achieved.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Experience working on MOD items/equipment (desirable).
- Light Weapons experience, including pistols, machine guns, sighting systems, and ancillaries (desirable).
- IMS experience.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and deal with conflict successfully.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to enthuse and motivate.
- Drive, determination, and a track record in delivering continuous improvement.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
