Your Role
This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination, and conditioning of Telecommunication and Optical equipment and associated sub-assemblies. Using approved data to maintain the stock.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain items or equipment ranging from batteries to radio systems.
- Understand Risk Assessments and Risk Controls, including how to identify risks.
- Comply with all Safe Working Practices, including reporting accidents and incidents within the workplace.
- Participate in and contribute to WIs/SOPs and process updates, assisting with necessary amendments.
- Work within current policies, procedures, and management guidance.
- Collaborate with others to achieve required outcomes.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Experience with inventory management systems – desirable.
- Ability to understand and work with approved data.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate others.
- Drive, determination, and a record of continuous improvement.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
