Experienced Database Engineer / DBA required to join an established FinTech company with a collaborative and supportive culture.

Essential skills:

  • Strong implementation and administration experience of Microsoft SQL Server from latest versions, Azure SQL databases, Azure SQL Managed Instances, Oracle.
  • Database schema design and implementation - Relational databases, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions and Views, Indexes, SQL jobs and alerts.
  • Strong ETL Development and Data Warehousing experience MS Fabric, SSIS, SSRS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Designing and maintaining CI & CD using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Proven experience in building high availability databases/servers.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Disaster Recovery.
  • Proven experience in DB cluster creation and management.
  • Proven experience in DB upgrades, Automating DB Patching.
  • Strong troubleshooting skillset across SQL Server, Oracle workloads.
  • Extensive experience supporting highly available client-facing Production IT applications and databases, based on Microsoft technology.
