The Role

We are looking for an experienced individual to plan, build and deliver customer and vendor focused events. This includes working with the marketing team to ensure all required elements of the marketing mix are executed and maximise the exposure of the Kubus brand to existing and new customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create and take ownership of an annual events calendar of external and internal customer and vendor focused events including online and face to face, aligning to marketing and sales priorities.
  • Lead on the planning, logistics, sourcing and delivery of the event, from venue booking to managing suppliers, and guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with sales, vendor management and leadership to ensure events drive brand awareness, customer engagement and new & existing business.
  • Manage allocated budget and report on event performance including ROI.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and take ownership of the required assets including building landing pages, email invitations, social media activity, merchandise ordering and follow up call to actions and content.
  • Ensure our presence at industry events (speaking slots, sponsorships) is impactful, relevant and aligned to business priorities.
  • Ensure the deadlines are successfully met.
  • Due to the nature of the role, some evening work in different locations will be required.
  • Support the Social Committee when required for internal events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in event management within the IT industry.
  • Must have previous experience in writing and delivering briefings.
  • Accurately manage budgets and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Wordpress or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including excellent Excel skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations.

Desirable

  • Experience in high-growth environments, including PE-backed businesses or SMEs, with a proven ability to manage rapid change whilst operating at pace.
  • Experience in NetSuite and/or Salesforce.
