Transform lives through data and AI

Who we are: We deliver powerful data and AI solutions that minimize operational costs, strengthen resilience against risk, and uncover revenue opportunities. Clients can retain expert teams to drive lasting adoption while futureproofing their workforce with exceptional talent. Since 2016, more than 3,000 data & AI specialists have been created by removing systemic barriers to the tech industry. Incredible minds from all backgrounds are trained to become part of a diverse team of experts. Work spans a broad range of industries, including financial services, insurance, asset management, pharmaceuticals, energy and natural resources, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and mobility. As a preferred partner of today’s leading technology providers - such as Databricks, Snowflake and Collibra - delivery is accelerated and revolutionary solutions are co-created. The lives of consultants, clients, and their customers are transformed through data and AI.

The Role: The Data & AI Governance Manager will play a key role in shaping and delivering Kubrick’s data management and governance proposition. The role combines client-facing delivery with internal thought leadership, requiring deep expertise across metadata management, data quality, governance frameworks, stewardship, regulatory compliance, and AI governance. Responsibilities include leading delivery teams, defining strategic roadmaps, and implementing governance tools such as Collibra, Ataccama, or Informatica. The manager will oversee a range of engagements—from building business glossaries and catalogues to designing operating models and data quality processes—while ensuring governance drives business value by enabling trusted, discoverable data for analytics, regulatory needs, operational resilience, and AI initiatives.

We are looking for:

  • Lead delivery of data governance, metadata management, and data quality workstreams for clients.
  • Define and implement enterprise frameworks covering stewardship, ownership, policy and standards, issue management, and governance processes.
  • Support configuration, implementation, and enablement of tooling (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama).
  • Design metadata strategies, business glossary structures, and conceptual data models.
  • Support data lineage initiatives, including mapping end-to-end data flows and identifying critical data elements.
  • Develop and implement data quality frameworks, profiling strategies, and remediation processes.
  • Lead internal squads and coach junior team members, providing delivery oversight and subject matter expertise.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into data governance initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal growth of the capability—developing playbooks, methods, reusable templates, and IP.
  • Participate in pre-sales efforts and develop client proposals that highlight the value of data management.
  • Work with Kubrick & client staff of other disciplines to understand and assess requirements, design solutions and inform delivery planning.
  • Seek, build, and maintain effective client relationships contributing to Kubrick’s commercial priorities and supporting our partnering approach to working with clients.

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality implementation across large-scale organisations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tooling such as Collibra. Experience also considered in Ataccama, Informatica, Alation and equivalent tooling.
  • Proven experience designing operating models, governance frameworks, and stewardship roles.
  • Data Governance or Technology Partner qualifications preferred e.g. DAMA CDMP, Collibra Ranger etc.
  • Strong understanding of metadata, lineage, CDE management, data cataloguing, and data quality dimensions.
  • Experience delivering data management solutions on modern platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, or AWS.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills.
