We are looking for a Creative Strategist to sit at the high-traffic intersection of our Creative, Strategy, and Performance teams. At Kubix, we know that world-class performance marketing requires more than just high budgets. It requires thumb-stopping creative backed by cold, hard data. You aren’t just a designer, and you aren’t just an analyst. You are the architect who translates ROAS targets, CPA goals, and retention data into high-converting visual concepts. Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will be the secret weapon for our Account Managers and Paid Media teams, ensuring every pixel we produce serves a specific purpose in the marketing funnel.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Vision: Trend Forecasting: Be the agency’s eyes and ears for e-commerce trends, keeping our clients ahead of the curve on TikTok, Meta, and beyond.
- Competitor Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into competitor landscapes to identify opportunities for our brands.
- Performance Briefing: Translate complex client objectives into razor-sharp creative briefs for social, email, and web.
- Creative Efficiency: Audit our output to reduce wasted resources, ensuring we focus on the formats and hooks that actually move the needle.
Tactical Execution
- Data Storytelling: Analyse ad format performance and present findings to clients, explaining why a specific creative won or lost.
- Full-Funnel Design: Craft assets tailored specifically for their placement, whether it’s a high-energy top of funnel TikTok or a bottom of funnel conversion-led email.
- Hands-on Creation: When duty calls, you’ll jump into the tools to execute design work, ensuring the final product matches the strategic intent.
- Workload Orchestration: Manage multiple creative work streams, balancing big picture strategy with the daily demands of a fast-paced agency.
About You
- eCommerce First: You understand the Shopify ecosystem and know what makes a digital shopper click Add to Cart.
- Funnel-Focused: You know the difference between awareness creative and conversion creative, and you can articulate those differences to clients.
- Tool Mastery: You are a power user of Figma and Motion, and you’re comfortable exploring new AI or video tools to speed up iteration.
- Proactive & Polished: You’re comfortable presenting your ideas in a boardroom (or a Zoom room) and can defend your creative choices with data.
Skills / Qualities
- Proven Agency Experience: You’ve worked in a performance-led environment where creative is measured by results.
- Creative Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Figma and Motion (or similar video/animation software).
- Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable looking at Meta Ads Manager or GA4 to see which creative hooks are driving the best CAC.
- Briefing Expertise: You can write a brief so clear that a designer or copywriter knows exactly what is expected of them on the first pass.
Salary Expectations: We appreciate that showing a salary indication is helpful for you to know whether it works with your personal circumstances, and it can be extremely frustrating to keep something so important so vague. But honestly? We’re in a position to consider a wide variety of experiences and salary levels for this role, so we’d rather discuss your experience and skills than try to set a salary bracket. If you’re the best person for the role, then we’ll offer a salary that works.
Do you want to be our next Creative Strategist? Now it’s over to you. Submit your application and one of our team will be in touch.
