About the Role:
As the Communications Lead, UK, you will lead the development and execution of communication strategies tailored to the diverse markets and stakeholders across the UK. You will be responsible for enhancing the organization’s reputation, driving engagement, and promoting its mission and initiatives within the region via earned media while helping inform owned content strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Establish Foundation for Integrated Communications in the UK: Build and engage with the network of agencies that will support the TFH comms team mission.
- Strategic Communication: Develop and implement integrated, localized communication strategies that support the organization’s goals.
- Flawless Execution: Execute strategic communications components spanning product releases, market expansion, and brand building initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Thought Leadership: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and advance the organization’s objectives.
- Media Relations: Oversee and engage in high touch media relations activities to secure positive coverage and manage the organization’s reputation.
- Content Creation: Lead the development of compelling content for various channels, ensuring alignment with country priorities.
- Crisis Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for crisis communication efforts throughout the UK.
- Agency and Brand Management: Protect and enhance the organization’s brand reputation through strategic communication initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate communication efforts and support overall business objectives.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in communications, preferably within multinational organizations.
- Deep understanding of regional dynamics, cultural nuances, and media landscapes across the UK.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
- Exceptional media relations skills and experience working with journalists and media outlets.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
- Direct experience with Web3/Crypto, data/privacy and financial regulations a plus.
- Ability to travel to provide in person support for market expansion and other relevant events.
