Fenris Creations London is looking for a Live Operations Manager to join our London team and help shape the ongoing player experience of EVE Vanguard; a new multiplayer First Person Shooter connected to the rich universe of EVE Online. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, player-focused operator with a strong understanding of live games, player behaviour, and cross-functional development. You will help drive seasonal content, live events, monetisation opportunities, engagement strategies, and operational planning while working closely with Design, Production, Community, Analytics, Marketing, and the wider development team to ensure EVE Vanguard remains reactive, engaging, and alive.
This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of players, data, creativity, and execution - someone excited by the challenge of operating a living multiplayer game within the vast and player-driven EVE universe. Your Tasks
- Work closely with Game Design, Production, Analytics, Community, Marketing, QA, and the wider development team to define and execute the live operations strategy for EVE Vanguard.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal beats, events, updates, rewards, engagement initiatives, and player-facing activities designed to support long-term retention, excitement, and community health.
- Monitor player behaviour, sentiment, and game health, using both quantitative and qualitative insights to help inform live operations and monetisation decisions as well as future content planning.
- Support the development of scalable operational pipelines, communication rhythms, and release processes that allow the team to react quickly and confidently to player needs.
- Act as a liaison balancing player expectations with production realities, coordinating across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality live experiences that feel meaningful to players.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in Live Operations, Product Management, Monetisation, or equivalent role within the games industry.
- Experience working on a live service multiplayer title.
- Strong understanding of player engagement, retention, progression systems, and seasonal content strategies.
- Ability to coordinate and execute live events, updates, operational calendars, and player-facing initiatives.
- Experience working with analytics, KPIs, player behaviour data, and sentiment reporting to inform decisions.
- Strong understanding of multiplayer game ecosystems and economies.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Design, Production, Community, Marketing, QA, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to balance player needs, business goals, and development realities.
- Strong player empathy and passion for multiplayer games and live communities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving development environment.
