Make a meaningful impact in your local community with Carr Gomm as a Part-Time and Relief Support Practitioner to join our Home Respite team in Nairn. This is an opportunity to contribute to a highly valued service that offers essential breaks to unpaid carers while supporting individuals to remain at home, in familiar surroundings.

About the Role

As a Support Practitioner, you will provide short periods of one-to-one support (typically 1–5 hours), giving carers the opportunity to rest and recharge. Our service holds a 5-star rating from the Care Inspectorate, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care. This role offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for those with other commitments such as childcare or study.

About You

We are looking for compassionate and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting others.

  • No previous experience is required – full training is provided.
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred, due to the rural localities of the people we support.

We welcome applications from any candidates already eligible to work in the UK or those that can apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK (e.g. dependent visas, ancestry etc.) that do not require sponsorship from Carr Gomm. You will be asked to share proof of this prior to receiving any offer of employment. It is currently our policy not to offer sponsorship for prospective candidates.
