A Catering Assistant is required to work in St Combs School in order to undertake the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages.
You are an enthusiastic and motivated team worker who has the ability to communicate well. A certificate in basic hygiene and experience in working in an Aberdeenshire school kitchen is desirable, however full training will be provided and a uniform supplied. This role may require flexible and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Work Pattern: 12.30pm - 1.30pm Monday to Friday (Term time) No break entitlement
Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £13.45 per hour.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory. This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.
