This will involve close liaison with affordable housing delivery partners within Renfrewshire, monitoring delivery of, and expenditure on, current and future affordable housing developments.You will also contribute to the preparation, delivery and monitoring of the Council’s Local Housing Strategy, which sets the strategic actions for the Council’s Housing Service and housing related actions for a range of other partners. In addition, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of a range of housing related statistics.Relevant experience including research/ policy development and joint working with external organisations is essentialYou will have knowledge of local housing strategy and affordable housing development processes, and of current national housing policy and legislation. You will also have experience of monitoring budgets and strong attention to detail.You will have the ability to analyse information and data and to present it clearly in both verbal and written forms. To support this you will have knowledge of IT systems, particularly spreadsheet and word processing applications.If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
