This is a hands-on night shift leadership role within food manufacturing, where you will take ownership of production performance, safety and quality. Through supportive leadership, you will motivate your team to deliver KPIs, manage change and drive continuous improvement in partnership with the Production Manager.

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 12 noon-midnight. The role requires flexibility across operational hours from 6 am to midnight, with occasional weekend support as business demands.
- Champion Health & Safety, Quality, Cost control, waste reduction and overall performance across the operational areas.
- Take full ownership and accountability for the production area during the allocated shift.
- Monitor oil usage and production levels end to end, ensuring business requirements are consistently met.
- Review individual and team performance, identifying skills gaps and training requirements.
- Maintain regular, clear communication with the Production Manager regarding performance, risks and escalations.
- Deputise for the Production Manager as required.
Requirements:
- Proven background within food manufacturing, with exposure to Warehouse and Transport operations.
- Demonstrable experience in Production Management.
- Strong working knowledge of BRC standards and other relevant food safety and compliance audits.
- Proficiency in digital systems such as Access, SAP and Excel, with wider systems knowledge preferred.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Experience using production scheduling software.
