This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Technologist at our studio in Exeter. The Architectural Technologist will prepare and develop detailed technical drawings, including construction and working drawings, to support project delivery. Collaboration with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure designs are workable, innovative, and meet high-quality standards is a key part of the role. Participation in design/technical discussions and providing input to enhance project outcomes will also be expected.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Architectural Technology, with strong knowledge of building design processes and construction methods.
- Skilled in Technical Drawing creation, including Working Drawings and Construction Drawings for various project phases.
- Proficiency with design software such as Revit, and other visualization tools is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of building regulations and industry standards including NBS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with clients, teams, and consultants.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
