We work closely with GPs, NHS ICBs and clinicians to deliver a seamless diagnostic journey, combining clinical excellence with compassionate patient care.
As our service continues to grow, we’re looking for an organised, proactive and empathetic Patient Services Coordinator to join our Autism Service Operations Team.
About The Role
This is a varied operational role at the centre of our Autism Service.
You’ll coordinate patient journeys from referral through to assessment and final report, supporting patients, clinicians and referrers while ensuring an outstanding service experience.
Working across multiple operational workstreams, you’ll help keep the service running efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient journeys from referral through to assessment and final report.
- Manage clinician diaries, appointments and referrals to ensure an efficient, high‑quality service.
- Act as the first non‑clinical point of contact for patients, families, GPs and referrers, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, CQC and internal policies.
- Provide administrative and operational support to clinicians and the wider Autism Service team.
- Use patient management systems to coordinate appointments, maintain records and monitor service performance.
- Support quality assurance, audits and continuous service improvement.
- Work collaboratively across the team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A clear, professional and compassionate communicator.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital scheduling systems.
- Committed to confidentiality, safeguarding and delivering excellent service.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient coordination, clinical administration or another operational support role is highly desirable.
