What We Are Looking For

• A clinical qualification in
  • Clinical/ Counselling/ Forensic/ Occupational/ Education Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Nursing
  • Occupational Therapy
  • or Speech and Language Therapy
• Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC
• Formal training in and experience delivering ADOS and ADI‑R assessments, ideally online
• Ideally you will have assessed both children and adults
• A high level of written and verbal communication
• Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM‑5 criteria

What You’ll Do As a Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner

• Conduct high‑quality autism assessments using gold standard assessment tools such as ADOS and ADI‑R
• On average we look for 2 ADOS or 1 ADI‑R assessment per day
• Deliver assessments for children, young people and adults
• Use your clinical expertise and judgement, providing accurate diagnosis and post‑diagnostic recommendations
• Collaborate with a highly‑skilled MDT
• Produce well‑written clinical reports. You will have dedicated admin time to ensure you can keep on top of your workload
• Provide meaningful feedback and recommendations for clients
• Contribute to the development of the service
