General Manager / BDM in Norwich

KT & Coe Recruit are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced General Manager / BDM to join a successful and established business

This is a unique blend of sales, business development, relationship management and people leadership. We’re looking for someone who can genuinely wear both hats – commercially driven and confident winning and developing business, while equally comfortable leading a team and managing the day-to-day operation.

You’ll lead an established team of take ownership of commercial performance and play a key role in driving the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new B2B sales and business development
• Build strong, long-term client relationships
• Develop and grow existing customer accounts
• Lead, motivate and develop a team
• Take ownership of P&L and commercial performance
• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the business
• Manage key supplier and stakeholder relationships
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance and profitability
• Manage competing priorities within a busy environment

About You

You’ll be a confident, commercially minded individual with strong sales, business development and relationship management experience, alongside proven people management skills.

You must be able to wear both hats – switching between driving sales and leading the operation. You’ll need to be resilient, organised and able to cope well under pressure, particularly when juggling new business, existing client relationships, team management and operational demands.
