The Role
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision components for demanding engineering applications. Working within a specialist machining environment, you will contribute to the production of quality components while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and workmanship. Operators are expected to continuously develop their technical capabilities, with progression opportunities available through the competency levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
- Produce components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks.
- Ensure components meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area.
- Report machining issues, equipment faults, and non-conformances.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Able to independently complete standard machining operations.
